Just installed this fan last night (1/14/15) and would rate it as mostly a breeze :-) Get it?I did not find making space for the receiver difficult whatsoever, but I've installed a few fans with large receiver boxes before.What I did find difficult, however, was the screws that go up into the housing to attach the blades. Even with perfect alignment of the blade I found it difficult to get 2 of the screws to catch. Turns out that in 1 of those 2 there was a burr in the female threads in the fan and it wouldn't take the screw, only chew up the screw's threads a bit. This was easily addressed by running a 10-32 tap through the hole to clean the threads. After that the screw went in amazingly easy. Wish I had run the tap through all of the 8 holes before I spent 20min trying!- The remote paired with the fan easily- Light has nice output for our size room (~14' x 14')- Light color looks like a CFL (since it is one); If you're used to incandescent bulbs this will be whiter than normal, but our beside lamps are already CFL, so this looks the same- Fan is AMAZINGLY quiet. Until you get to the highest speed setting the fan is almost silent (it is silent on speed #1)Overall, I highly recommend this fan - and it was about $65 cheaper than both local "big box" orange and blue hardware stores.CONS:- Doesn't dim, but we knew this going in. Purchased a dimmable LED with the hopes that the remote could handle dimming with a dimmable bulb (as the CFL provided does not dim), but the remote does not support this. Might try another hunter remote to see if we can pick up dimming.
