Vortex brand in-line fans are possibly the quietest and best built duct fans available. more expensive than some but well worth it for their very quiet operation and responsiveness to external speed controllers. I use the SE Electronic Stepless speed controller with my Vortex duct fan and it works perfectly. I highly recommend this duct fan for any installation where vibration and noise could be an issue. Vortex duct fans come with mounting kits that allow a verity of mounting options. as usual, buying through Amazon.com provides the desirable cost savings and customer protections that everyone wants.
