The fan automatically “kicks up” from a continuous low CFM to the higher CFM speed when the humidity exceeds the preset Relative Humidity (RH) and will continue to run for a preset time or until the Relative Humidity falls below the preset RH setting. This fan’s DC motor consumes up to 70% less energy than conventional bath fans which means the fan motor runs cooler and improves the fan’s life span.
