the motor is tooooo weaktoo slow and too weak to suck out the hot air from housewe have one on hallway (24" ) and this (30")on side of the house facing out from wallif i have just this one on the vent opens up half way and not sucking almost any air out from houseonly way to make house cool off is to have two fans on then vent opens up full
