I bought 2 of these cage fans for my 1100sq ft house with open floor plan and 12 ft peak/sloped ceiling . I was tired of the blade fans wanted something different and I wanted to change the chandelier for a ceiling fan. these were the perfect fit. I like the design of the cage and the flat black color. Even though i have tall ceilings i can feel the air from the fan while sitting on the couch. When I unboxed the fans one was missing a cover plate from the bottom of the fan , this did not effect function so I put them up and contacted the company that made the fans . They responded in under 24 hrs and shipped a new cover that arrived in under 2 wks .
