I bought this book for my daughter for her Paralegal class. The price for the used book was 10% the cost of a new book. It's well worth getting the used book. There were no indication that the book was ever opened but did exhibit some small scuff marks on the exterior (barely visable). There were no hand written notes on the inside. My daughter loves the book, but it was a requirement for her class and I can't tell you about the quality of information written. If you need to get this book for your class, I recommend buying the used book.
