Over time, built and rebuilt my Ausus EVO MB with AMD 6 core CPU system and added liquid cooling about 10 years ago. Sadly that CPU cooler recently went south and replaced it with one from another manufacturer the went south in three months. Replaced that one with this ASUS TUF Gaming LC 120 CPU liquid system and so far, excellent results. It was an Amazon 2nd home item and very hard to tell if box had even been opened. The Pre-applied cool paste looked like it may have been touched, but was intact.Took all of 15 minutes to replace and now 34 C at idle and with all 6 cores overclocked at 100% with video rendering, 44 C. Idle temperature seems to be a function of ambient air temp. Used the factory paste patch.I see reviews about difficulty with LGA 1700 mount, but I had installed this mounting hardware years ago and I feel their pain, it was time consuming and tedious, but that’s the MB and AMD system and not the CPU cooler. You just to take the MB out and carefully install the mounting hardware bracket on the back an mounting brackets on the top and then replace, or add the cooling block at the same time and then install back into the case. This time it just snapped in with the pre applied Paste patch, so easy since only one side needed to be tightened with the Ausus system. Taking the Intel bracket off the cooling head and replacing it with the AMD LGA bracket took a little time but it went into place after a little studying the way it attached and it helped to know what it was supposed to look like.My old MB had no RGB or any other color headers, just plugged the 3 pin pump connector into the 4 pin MB CPU power connector and the fan into the chassis power fan connector. Second fan powered off molex adapter and runs constant speed. My case is also old and has been modified to add upgrades and more components, old ATX and a little narrow. I added a 2nd 120 mm fan on the front of the radiator, as one on the back, all blowing outward, so I have a push-pull that circulates a great amount or air over the MB and gives super cooling to the cooling radiator. I needed this since the old case had to be modified with the 1st liquid cooler to fit—Metal shears cut a nice hole to allow the radiator to stick out a little since the power supply would not let the radiator fit.Summary, this CPU liquid cooler installed and works great in an older Asus MB without color headers, just plug into CPU and Fan MB connectors.
