Top quality, German made tools. These are the best you can buy, and well worth the money for serious jewelers. As soon as you open the box you'll see the difference. These are precision in every way; polished where needed, ground where needed. A lot of thought went into the design. They are smooth, not too tight and not to loose in the joint. The arms have a great grip pattern and I've never had any troubles with them slipping in my hand. The stand is nice, but I prefer to keep them in my toolbox because I find it to be much more practical. If you prefer the stand I would strongly suggest screwing or bolting it into your work bench. I don't think there is anything else to say. You won't find better pliers for more or less money.
