Like brand new. I still cant figure out what was refurbished. The motor had never been connected to electric. The only thing is the Styrofoam had an empty cavity for a light kit and a couple of small glass shards. My guess is that it had a light that was probably broken. Is this Hunter’s way? Instead of scrapping the whole fan they take the broken light out and sell as refurbished? Who knows. But the fan works great !
