I purchase this air cooler for the reason of trying to decrease the AC time in my camper van. Most of the time I don’t have hookup when I am on the road. It is getting very hot recently. I need to turn on my AC to have a better sleep. However, in order to turn my AC on, my generator have to be on also. It is loud, noisy, and it is going to be annoying at nighttime. With a potable air cooler/ air conditioner fan, I am able to sleep in a cool and peaceful environment. Putting ice water in the water compartment, it quickly brings the temperature down in my camper, and it makes it very comfortable in warm days. I also love how it uses less energy than a traditional air conditioner. It allows me plus it in my potable power station without turning my generator on. The size is not too small, but it is lightweight. It has wheels at the bottom, and it makes it easy to move around. In addition, not only it cools the air, but it also functions as a humidifier. This feature is great, because it keeps the air in my camper fresh and not too dry. Compared to the AC in my camper, this unit cooperates much quieter. This is a huge plug for me, as it doesn’t disturb my sleep. Considering all the advantages, this air cooler worth the value of the money.
