We’re using this for our pool area because we tend to have people who just want to lounge around and not get wet. Plus, we’ve had a surgically impaired family member who couldn’t get in the pool. ?♀️This thing fits right on our regular standing fan and cools the area at least 10 degrees. If you don’t sit far enough away though you can get wet. It does adjust the water flow but it’s a little hard to get it turned down enough without playing around with the controller for a while.We had a stand-alone mister before this and it broke on the second use because it was plastic. This unit is metal where the water comes out so I am hoping that it will be durable. It looks and feels much more durable. We're very pleased with it. There was really nothing to assemble. Just don’t sit too close and you will like it too.It feels like a good buy.
