Running Win10 on an older computer (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz ), my previous graphics card wasn't supported by PhotoShop 2024, and the VRAM was insufficient. The Radeon RX580 fit the bill. Install was easier than I expected. I needed a 4-pin to 6-pin adapter cord, available separately on Amazon, and next day delivery.I have another old computer with several fans, and it is loud. The RX580 with 2 fans is nearly silent. I'm not sure I hear it at all; the one I hear could be the CPU or power supply.One small problem: the instruction booklet said to download a driver from an NVidia site. The card is AMD not Nvidia, but I easily found the AMD site with drivers for the RX580.With a few settings in the AMD Adrenilin software, I was able to run PhotoShop 2024 with no GPU issues.
