My plan to use this fan was to be used as the main source of light in a bedroom via a wall switch and use the remote for the fan as needed. Unfortunately… every time the light switch was turned off, the next time it turned on there was a loud beep and it would change to the next light setting. The 1 time it’s the brightest, flip switch again, med setting, flip again, low setting, repeat. And there was a loud beep each time. Which you can’t disable.If you are only planning to use the remote this is great. It remembers your last setting and only beeps when you change something so you know that it worked. Which is awesome if that is how you want to use it!!Super easy to install. I did it by myself and I’m by no means an electrician. Comes with a little hook to keep it in place while connecting wires. This is a great little fan!It’s actually a lot smaller than I thought. I def did not want the look of a ceiling fan in my kitchen but it’s a hot place and needed a cooling option. This fan is adorable and effective. It’s pretty powerful but directs all its flow down—not out. I love it and may consider another purchase.Only took 10 min to install, very lightweight.Nice to be able to adjust lighting with remote.This light is perfect , it has great power for the fan and its very quiet. The changing light color is amazing. Love itIt was easy to install if you know what you’re doing but if you don’t really need to have an electrician to do itIt was worth the price, the remote for the light has different settings with a timer and I really enjoy the night glow after it's turned off.This fan/light combo was "a piece of cake" to install.
