The item came in a box labeled FRAGILE. This should have been enough notice for me that the wood used to create this coat hanger is VERY THIN! The box had to be reinforced by multiple cardboard pieces taped together, so that the wood inside did not break. Once set up, the coat hanger does not appear strong and stable, but might topple over on the side if there are not items hanging on both sides. I am disappointed in how flimsy it appears. There were even some pieces of the wood that were rough (not stained well) or stained (there was one spot, which when removed, took off the stain).
