Update: While I still cant recommend the 60" fan, I can absolutely recommend this seller. They read the review and reached out immediately to try to fix the problem. They are (allegedly) working on improving the installation instructions and tried there best to find a solution to the speed issue. With that unresolved they offered me a partial refund. It means a lot that they are willing to reach out and do whatever it takes to make a customer happy. 5/5 stars for customer service.TLDR: Fan isn't hard to install for those of moderate handiness, Remote control isn't as responsive as others I have owned, and the fan is not nearly as powerful as I expected. 2/5 Stars for FanInstallation - The installation manual is hard to describe. There are some great pictures but there not enough of them (feels like steps are missing and/or out of order) and the accompanying written instructions are not helpful. On top of that the instructions appear to be made for a different fan (perhaps the smaller 52" model or an older version of the fan). The wiring diagrams show you connecting to wires that don't exist. Even with all this it still wasn't too difficult to install for me. That being said, this is the 3rd fan I have installed in the last 2 months and probably the 10th of my lifetime. If this is your first, get a different fan or hire a professional.Looks - I would give this fan 5 stars on looks. It is a great looking fan.Performance - I purchased this fan to replace a much older, 52"-54" fan on a patio. It was a cheap, builder grade fan that was probably undersized for the space. That being said, the old fan outperformed this modern, 60" fan in air movement. Its not even close. At the highest level you have to be standing (not sitting) directly under the fan to feel significant airflow. The RPM seems to be about half of what I would expect I was inspired to try one of these DC fans because we rented a house with one installed and it was awesome. Not so much with this particular model. Very disappointed.This fan is fantastic. Easy to install with a built-in hanger. The product is robust and the operation even at high speed is incredibly silent. Very impressive and I recommend. I had two blades arrive with chipped corners and when I contacted the company about it, then sent 3 perfect, brand new blades immediately. I am very happy with this purchase.Fan is stunning and quiet as a mouse. Great fan speeds…and reversible. Blades are real wood and it makes a difference. Looks great with matte black fixtures.Wish manual gave more info, incl how to order replacement parts, especially LED unit (not bulbs). Lights are somewhat stark, but better when dimmed. Natural Wind on remote is not explained anywhere. I had to contact company for an explanation: It cycles gradually through each fan speed (6), then back again…..to simulate a natural breeze. Nice. Customer Service good. They got right back to me. In my experience, Installation wasn’t the easy breezy quick process so heavily touted. But the fan itself seems to be a truly remarkable product.
