If you have vinyl music albums, you know they have a love affair with dust and anything else blowing in the air. Static electricity is the guilty culprit here as it is a magnet for dust.I've used anti-static "guns" from Discwasher and similar tools and they sort of work, but they are a pain to use and take a long time with a lot of effort.This ionizing air blower from Feita eliminates static electric charges on an album surface in 5 seconds or less. This is a commercial unit for use in manufacturing facilities and the like and is clearly overkill for vinyl records. But it works. Boy, does it work!I used a Feita electrostatic meter (I've written a separate review for that) to measure the "before" and "after" of using this ionizing air blower. The "before" reading was -0.99 kV, almost -1000 Volts! The "after" reduced the static charge down to -0.03 kV, or -30 Volts. A reduction of about 970 Volts that took all of 5 seconds!So, if you have a large vinyl record collection, this is the kind of tool to have.Highly recommended!!
