Did not hesitate to turn to Vornado again for our window fan purchases.Another hit out of the park for Vornado! Love these window fans. - Sleek appearance taking minimal space. Easy to fit into 26 in - 40 in windows. - Efficient performance, incredible airflow, and very quiet. Very quiet ambient noise even at the highest speed 4. - The unit is easy to handle/lift up and down from window with the handle/carrying indentations on the sides. - As seen in photo, comes with additional hard foam rigid pieces if you wish to make the fan a more permanent window installation. Also comes with a remote control unit. - Unit has both air intake and air exhaust modes. - Can set unit to automatically turn off/on to maintain a set temperature. - Handy instruction manual. The unit overall is very easy to operate.Use note: We do not keep the fan units permanently in our windows. Rather, we place them in the windows at night for night time cooling, and remove them in the morning and close the windows. As such, we are not using the extra rigid foam pieces for a more permanent installation. The fans are very easy to take in and out of the window if you want to use them in a similar fashion.I highly recommend this product.
