My previous rating for the EMPV-30RH06 range hood was 2 stars. I contacted Empava Customer Service and I honestly thought and was prepared for Empava to give me the customer service runaround about the range hood. I was pleasantly surprised to receive 10 star assistance from Customer Service. Empava had me return ship the poor performing range hood and sent me a new one at their expense.After i Installed it, I could feel better suction from the new range hood and I did a steam test. I boiled a pot of water on the highest heat setting on the stove top to create as much steam as possible. The range hood performed significantly better. I would say at least 98% of the steam was captured by the exhaust fan and evacuated to the outside. I also felt significantly greater air flow at about 2 feet further from the outside exhaust vent then I did from the previous range hood. I am extremely happy with Empava's Customer Service and Completely satisfied with the new EMPV-30RH06 range hood.
