I bought my fan in the summer of 2020. We use it almost daily in the summer and it has been everything we hoped for. The mister is enough that, if we sit any closer than 5' away, eventually we will get damp (and need to clean our glasses). But it seriously lowers the temperature on our deck by at least 10°. We have extremely hard water but the spray jets have never been an issue. Last summer, we did need to replace the fan fuse.
