First, the direction they suggest the fan arms is backwards and it is impossible to do it in that manner. Second, the fan blade screws are too short and I had to buy longer ones. Third, the supplied fan screws were bronze and not black as pictured. Fourth, the washers for the fan blades are bright red and not black as pictured. Fifth, the covering for the pull string is bronze and not silver as pictured. Sixth, the directions to set up the solar panel control and what it actually does is hideous. Seventh, solar panel control has many issues. I had to order a better controller to run the fan more efficiently and it came with wonderful fool-proof instructions. Now that I spent an extra 140 dollars to make the fan work properly, it’s a great fan. Save your money!!! Buy a DC fan, solar panels and a controller. Save yourself a lot of money, time and hassle. .
