For some reason, even with the central air running, we have been still feeling hot in our sitting room. To solve this problem, I brought this portable air conditioner.First, this unit works well in our open-concept 300 sq ft sitting room, with a much better cooling effect than a fan. The room temperature drops noticeably within just a few minutes.Secondly, its biggest advantage is the ease of mobility and installation. I have to mention that the window-panel kit from the package did not fit our window size. I had to cut it shorter, which made the installation process a bit challenging, but everything went well in the end.Finally, regarding the noise level, this air conditioner is much quieter than a window unit and is well within my tolerance range.Overall, this portable AC is just as powerful and nearly as quiet. Its perferormence has been satisfactory.
