Sturdy dense material. A little heavy might be 5 pounds.Quite fan and keeps drives cool. Currently I have only 3 drives in it stays around 40°c for each drive.I stream 4k video from it no problem.The door latching mechanism feels a little weak. I have no problems with it yet, however I only been using it for a few months.
