I bought this fan to provide much needed airflow in my garage, especially in the hot summer temps. I had a nice, central spot on the back wall of my garage where I could install the mounting bracket into a sturdy 6x6. It screwed in easily and the fan rested on the mount easily while I hand tightened them together.When putting the blades and wire cover on, I made the mistake of not realizing there was an orientation to connect properly, but it was easily fixed. (Had I ready the simple instructions, I would have easily seen my mistake ahead of time). Either way, it was very easy to put together.When testing it out, even the low setting move a lot of air, so I have high hopes that this will help keep the garage much cooler and more comfortable once we get to real summer temperatures. The oscillation mechanism works well, too, providing a very wide angle of movement.If I were to nitpick, I'd say the vertical angle adjustment could work a little better. The screw used to lock it in place didn't seem to work at any angle, but the angle I found to be most useful seems to be locked in just fine. I don't think anyone would need a precise angle for a fan like this, so this shouldn't be a deal breaker.As for build quality, the fan blades are very solid. The body is plastic, but the mounting and connections are all metal, so I'm confident in it staying attached to the wall and lasting for quite some time.Over all, I'm very happy with this fan so far and am looking forward to making good use of it for some time.
