I really like this FNRSI Soldering Iron Kit 100W with 3 Soldering Tips. New soldering irons like this are the revolution of the tinkerers’ world. Being able to power it with just a USB-C cable and brick makes soldering a much easier task than old clunky soldering iron base stations, or cheap AC powered soldering irons that take a long time to warm up.Comparatively, this warms up in seconds. I’ve timed it and it takes three seconds to go from 0 to 750°FIt comes in a neat, easy to carry carrying case with extra soldering tips, a little stand, and its cable. This is easy to put in a work bag or store away in a drawer in your workshop.It’s built out of a metal, I assume is zinc, which makes it feel nice and weighted in the hand. The screen is a nice color display that gives you real-time information on temperature and voltage. Navigating the menus is extremely simple and intuitive, so that even a beginner can easily follow.
