The 12 inch, 3 blade fan is constructed of powder-coated steel for long-lasting durability. The rotary switch located on the back allows you to turn the fan on or off and change between (3) speeds. The single phase 1/25th horsepower, fully enclosed, permanently lubricated ball bearing motor with a split capacitor provides a quiet performance and produces a lot of air flow. This fan is ETL and OSHA approved. The fan measures 15.5 inches long by 8.5 inches wide by 16.5 inches high and has a dhipping weight of 12.1 pounds. The Air King 9214 12 inch Industrial Grade High Velocity Pivoting Floor Fan comes with a 1 year limited warranty. Air King 12 inch 3 speed pivoting floor fan features a handle for easy portability. The fan moves 1360, 1170 and 1010 CFM at high, medium and low speeds. It operates at 1545, 1250 and 900 RPM and .8, .6 and .5 amps and 85, 76 and 64 watts at high, medium and low speeds. Meets AMCA standard 230-99. Meets made in America requirements of ARRA. This fan operates at 56, 49 and 42 decibels on high, medium and low speeds. Got this fan for extra cooling in the garage. It was in addition to one that is similar that is sold under the basics nameplate. This fan is built well. It's heavier, beefy metal with thick metal blades and blows more air as a result. Compared to the Basics, it is quieter and has a lower running rumble. The two observed points are also why this is more expensive. Worth it? Yes. It runs well-balanced and quiet (for a fan). Opinion-wise, it reminds me of the tough, heavy fans of the 60's and 70';'s, where you got your money's worth. The cord is thick, and about 5-6 feet long. would definitely buy it again, and over the basics model, even at the higher price point.
