As much as I depend on reviews I'm embarrassed that I don't write more. Im writing one now because this one is deserves a review. I searched and searched for the perfect duvet for my bed. There is of course always a certain fear when purchasing things without touching them, or seeing them up close, and only going by the picture. Im redecorating my room and this one almost completely hit the nail on the head. I will say that the only down part is that the orange in it is VERY orange, I think the blanket in the main picture covers that up, so if you're not a fan of the color, like I am not, then you really want to think hard about getting this particular duvet. I wouldn't say don't get it because I am definitely keeping it, just think about it. I was hoping for more of a purple, burgundy kind of darker look. It does have purple, burgundy, this beautiful shade of blue, and red so there are a lot of colors to pull from while decorating. I will also say that the bright orange in no way takes away from how beautiful this duvet is. The detail put into the designs is like nothing I've ever seen. The material is thick, and luxuriously soft, it has almost a suede feel but not quite. That was another thing that I was worried about, that it wasn't going to be soft, I really had nothing to fear, it is amazingly soft. It seems extremely well-constructed. I don't think that it would fall apart easy after washing, however I haven't washed it yet I just got it today. I purchased the queen size and I am able to fit two king size comforters in it. It fits my queen bed perfectly but having both comforters in it gives it that big poofy Arabian feeling that I've been going for. It does come with two shams and what they say is a flat sheets but it's more like a bedskirt. I definitely recommend this duvet to anyone pining for that other worldy, beautiful, fun, bohemian look.
