Hunter Fan Company 51388 Neuron 52-Inch Smart Ceiling Fan with LED Light, Matte Silver Finish - Perfect for Living Room, Bedroom & Outdoor Spaces

After purchasing this fan I discovered the Hunter universal mounting bracket requires a 3.25 inch spread on the attachment bolts. My ceiling electrical box measures 2.75 inches so it won't work. I tried a universal mount from a different manufacturer at which point I learned Hunter has a triangular shaped canopy hanger where most all other manufacturers use a round ball.Aside from these issues, the color of the blades are much lighter and the finish pattern is not as appealing as the online photos. This unit is going back.We wanted to replace our older ceiling fan because of the constant clicking noise it made. We ran across this brand as a recommendation from a friend. This was the perfect fan for us! Easy installation. It suited our decor with a modern fan. Loads of fan power with only three fan blades. Best of all, it is quiet as a mouse!!! Not one sound coming from it!Beautiful! So easy to hang, really well made and very light weight. The Alexa functions set up quickly and without a hitch and work well. It's a great addition to my master bedroom.The main reason I bought this “Neuron” ceiling fan by Hunter was because it was advertised as being Apple HomeKit compatible; it would work with Alexa; and it integrates into the Lutron app. BE WARNED: IT ONLY DOES 1 OUT OF 3, and it does not even do that well. It works—sporadically—with HomeKit but not at all with the other two. The app for Alexa is rated poorly by the community.Go check out the reviews before you spend your hard-earned money on false advertising by Hunter. Hunter will likely often escape accountability for selling products that don’t work as promised—who’s going to go to the trouble of removing a ceiling fan after realizing all the features don’t work? Many people will not.DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT OR ANY HUNTER FAN IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO INTEGRATE INTO YOUR SMART HOME.
