I liked the color look and feel ok and it stops there. As an engineer I thought I could fix this because I want a black toilet. I would have to re-engineer it to be useful. Here is what happened the valve that flushes leaks because most likely the manufacturer they buy it from makes them that way. It leaks between the seal and the gland of the valve because as you can see in the pictures the cap that retains the o-ring is not properly glued. In most applications this would not matter however when you get standing flush water in there it leaks and it gets all over. The next question you may ask well so why would I keep standing flush water in there. Good point so the answer is because the flush pump has a constant leak into the bowl from hot cold cycles and it seems to have some sort of wicking effect that always migrates flush water into the bowl. I think this is a bad design on the pump or something because no matter what I tried this keeps happening. Basically as you drive or let it sit it constantly wastes your flush water and if you don't crack the main valve to drain it will leak inside where it is. If they would put a pump that doesn't leak it would do the job. It's better than a bucket or maybe not as that doesn't leak. The pump also flushes on the up stroke something I was surprised by. Anyhow goes to show that an electric is not always as bad or unreliable as clearly this one was useless from day one. Fix the blade valve and the pump and I would recommend it.
