My 15 year old granddaughter loves these markers. She is into drawing anime and is quite good. These Copic markers are made in Japan where anime started and these are perfect. I have purchased sets A and B for her and for Christmas this year I'll probably get her the C set. I'm not sure I would invest in these for a beginner since they are so expensive and there are others that are cheaper to use for beginners.
