I did purchase this propeller fan. The pictures make it look lovely. When it arrived I was disappointed. The cost is almost $500. I expected a solid wood propeller. A genuine real wood propeller type fan. It is not real wood. It is more like a pressed wood fan blade. Perhaps this is a costly fan to make etc but this light weight pressed wood blade did not impress me at all. I returned the fan immediately. If you need a light weight fan, perhaps this is for you. But for me, I wanted quality and solid wood which is not this product. It looked like the photos but holding the blade was like holding a straw. It was light weight and painted wood grain. I was looking for something genuine wood - at that cost. Be aware this is not a real and solid wood product as described. It is a pressed wood, painted product. It just depends what you are looking for and how much you are willing to pay for it. I didnt want to pay that much for 'fake' wood product. :(
