the fan comes with a Chinese plug, and an adaptor, instead of the correct plug. There is some paint missing, but the military green color will be repainted by me anyway.. as it is ugly beyond belief. and there is a restrictor plate welded onto the output of the pump housing. it would restrict the output to about half of the volume. So that is bad.. fortunately it is tack welded, and I can easily use a Dremel or even a file to remove it. it makes some noise, but nothing beyond what I would expect, and looks very serviceable. even with the restrictor plate, it blows a very large volume of air, so I'm happy to have it. overall a good purchase, but when they get the details wrong, it cannot be used to full effectiveness as is. not a problem for me, but might be for some people. and the additional aero load on the motor will make it run hotter, consume more power, for less effective operation. they could have just left it without the plate, and put the right plug on it, so they actually spent more money (which I ultimately pay for) to make it worse, and I have to spend time correcting it. not complaining, but just to let everyone know what they are in for. these are actually a bit hard to find in the right voltage, and I would have preferred a 240V one with more output in watts.. but just glad it actually showed up after some big delays of more than 10 extra days. no worries, I can install and use now! sounds cool spooling up. :)
