I purchased the ABCCANOPY umbrella base stand and it is awesome. I initially sought other alternatives including paving stones for weight but this is by far the most secure way to keep the umbrella from toppling. Each portion of the 4 panel base is heavy duty that slides onto the 4 way base of the umbrella. The opening of each fan is wide enough to put a variety of chosen products for weight inside. I chose pea gravel and it was a smart choice. The bag doesnt list by weight, only cubic area coverage because it was landscape pea gravel. I chose the .5 cubic feet bags. The cost for each bag was under $6 each and I used 1.5 bags per fan for a total of 6 bags. So for just under $36 I had my full weight needed and then some. I thought about a funnel to get this into each fan, but that moved really slow because the opening of the funnel was to small to get that pea gravel inside the fans. I took a 20 oz bottle of cola, drank it up and then used the plastic bottle for my funnel by cutting off both ends. The end where the drinking neck is, I made sure to cut just below the neck and the other end, I just cut evenly across the bottom. This made a perfect 'scooper' with a roomy neck to get that gravel in quickly. I scooped up the gravel right from the bag, sometimes covering the other end with my hand not to lose any. Use the neck part to insert into the fan. Cheap and easy and moved quickly. Roll the fan around to get that gravel into the interior evenly. Put the cap back on the fan and slide it on the umbrella base. It hasnt moved since. This is a very durable base fan weight
