Right out of the box, this is supposed to be easy. And it was easy, I just didn't realize it. The app never showed that it connected and set up properly so for the last couple of months, I thought it wasn't working or that I needed to get tech support involved. I did finally call, but found out because I got this through Amazon, I couldn't talk to them, I had to go through Amazon. This triggered me starting over on the set up. The app was still giving me an error message that it wasn't finding my switch, but I moved forward with the rest of the set up without it and POOF! It worked! So, it is an Instant On switch. Works pretty well except there are some limitations on the PEO. I have one item we use for video production that will not power up - I get an amber light flashing that says it doesn't have enough power. So ready your equipment requirements first and then take a look at this option. Just know the app is basically worthless and not needed.
