Egyptian Bedding Rayon from BAMBOO Sheet Set - Queen Size Gold 1500 Thread Count Cotton Sheet SetPRODUCT DESCRIPTION: The copy says “soft, luxurious fusion of 60% Bamboo derived Rayon & 40% Egyptian cotton.” Sheets are not a “new blend” of Bamboo AND Cotton, they are 100% Bamboo. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing since I found them softer than cotton right out of the package. They feel truly luxurious. Once you go Bamboo you won’t go back!COLOR: Gold is darker than photo. I also ordered an extra set of pillow cases which, when arrived, were not the same shade. The color was close, but not a perfect match. The stitching was also slightly different.Sheets are colorfast, following washing instructions.FEEL: These sheets are still truly “luxurious and soft as silk”, even after 3 washings!WEIGHT: Product information shows shipping weight of 10 lbs. Actual package weighed 4 lbs. The sheets appear thinner than cotton, but are much more fluid and billowy, like a silk dress.FIT: Copy says Fitted Sheet fits mattresses 14” – 20”, but it also fits my 12” deep mattress without excessive bagging. FYI: Standard Pillow Case is labeled “Standard”, but also fits Queen.DURABILITY: These 1500 TC sheets had only minor pilling after 3 washings, nothing like the pilling I had with my 300 TC Bamboo sheets from another manufacturer.BAMBOO FABRIC CARE: Follow washing instructions. Use gentle, natural detergent with neutral ph. Wash in cold water and do not use bleach or fabric softener. (As an alternative brightener you can use a mixture of baking soda and white vinegar during washing.) Line dry in the sun OR use lowest setting and shortest time in the dryer. Remove immediately to minimize wrinkles…and there will be some. I take out the fitted sheet first and put on the bed while the top sheet and pillow cases are still tumbling. Then, I take out the top sheet and put it on the bed. And last, I remove the pillow cases. Hint: Washing and drying these sheets alone, without other laundry, will also minimize wrinkles.CUSTOMER SERVICE: Exceptional! Product was delivered on time.
