I bought this for my 12 year old daughter. We were recently looking at IKEA vanity's and came across this one which was cheaper. I have to say that this was so easy to put together it comes mostly assembled with very easy directions to follow, much easier than IKEA instructions. It took about 20 minutes, if that, to put together by myself. I have to admit it is much nicer than I expected. I believe it is all wood, though I could be wrong, it is very pretty and looks like a high quality furniture piece for a 12 year-old's bedroom. I highly recommend for any age.
