Love this fan, I use it to obviously stay cool, but I enjoy the humming noise to help me sleep. Just a little warning though, it's an industrial size fan, meant for a big room. Lol. Turning it on in my bedroom gave the effect that it was a little piper plane coming in for a landing, into my bedroom. The fan's blades literally sound like a propeller on an airplane!! ?????
