I'll start by saying I've installed 6 Hunter fans over the last 10 years and I'm a big fan (no pun intended) of the brand. I'm a tad disappointed in this specific fan though and that's unfortunate.PROS:This fan is really attractive and looks very nice. I have it in an office that has similar color dark wood blinds and desk and it matches so nicely. The cream colored light fixture is nice and the light isn't overbearing. The flush mount and total height from ceiling works great with standard height ceilings which is another reason I wanted this model. I found the installation straight forward and easy with no issues. This was an easier install with the ceiling bracket provided than other Hunter fans I've done in the past with the hook style connect and mount.CONS:Again this isn't my 1st Hunter fan install so I was disappointed that the fan has a low buzz/hum immediately upon powering on (that indicates it's not a momentum noise), and also has about a 1/2" or so wobble on the high-speed only. The middle and low speeds don't have the wobble issue. So all signs of a buzzing noise or wobble initially point to 'installer error.' All troubleshooting is, "you didn't tighten the blades evenly or enough" or "the wiring isn't installed correctly causing motor noise." Well I tell you the installation couldn't have been more straight forward so there weren't a lot of variables for me. I even proceeded to take the entire fan apart and re-tighten all bolts evenly, checking everything and it didn't do a thing to improve the wobble or noise. So the last stop is to use the balance kit provided. I moved the clip all around and then in 3" increments up and down the fan blades and I couldn't ever get the fan to settle down from wobbling on that high speed. It really made no difference and I spent a bit of time again moving the clip as instructed. My guess is more than 1 blade needs to be balanced in unison and I'll have to dig up another kit to try that. However then you get into hundreds of possibilities moving the clips around to balance when using multiple clips so not looking forward to that chore. Again, most reading will think "installer error" but I've rechecked everything and it's such a straight forward install (this is a credit to Hunter) and there isn't much left I can do. Therefore I had to knock a couple of stars off because being a brand new fan, and having Hunter fans in the past, the functionality should be more aligned with 'Whisper-quiet' as advertised and there should be no wobble at high-speed. I suspect the way the motor hangs in the mount with the rubber insulator is suspect but there isn't any adjustment I can make as it's seated properly.Overall the price was good on the fan and I still really like the way it looks. I mostly only run the fan on low and medium speeds so the wobble on high probably won't be enough of an issue for me to care. I also usually have music or other sound playing in the background to cover up the slight buzz/hum from the motor so that shouldn't prove to be that bad either. It is disappointing though because all my Hunter fans have been super duper quiet, so I'm not sure why this one buzzes a little.
