Simple to use! Only thing I could possibly recommend is to cut out a piece of 18" sq plywood to place beneath it if you have to set it on grass or dirt, so that it doesn't suck up any debris and blow it all over everything.I have a 16" tube that works just fine on this 12-in fan. I placed a bungee cord around the base and it kept blowing just fine!
