Firstly I would like to say I purchased this on a whim and I have been satisfied thus far. You will need to purchase additional things in order to use this kit to its full potential though. You will need nail files (or an e-file), buffers, gel polish cuticle oil and I also recommend purchasing a larger UV/LED nail lamp. The kit does include a UV lamp but it is very small and only cures one finger at a time, which is fine for the gelly tip application (as you can only apply one at a time when following the directions anyway) but for painting your nails you will want a 4-5 finger lamp. This kit does NOT include any gel color polish so you will need to purchase some, but it does include a gel top coat that I think works great. I work in healthcare which requires me to constantly wash my hands and lift/maneuver heavy things so far I find that the nails seem to stay on. The set I have on now has been on for 4 days and they still feel secure. There is a learning curve with the application process (using the right amount of builder gel, selecting tips that fit appropriately, nail shaping, etc) but if you mess up you can soak the tips off in no time with acetone or simply pop them off with a bit of force and reapply new ones. Overall I believe I will continue to use this kit and perhaps cut out my nail salon trips all together.
