We purchased 2 of these items. The description is purposely misleading. The description states."set on exhaust, the fan can create an indoor breeze that gets rid of accumulating heat andWhen set on intake, the cool evening air is drawn in" This is not true there is no intake or exhaust setting. The fan has one knob with HI and LO only. The instructions for the fan explain that to switch from intake to exhaust you simply have to uninstall the fan from your window and TURN IT AROUND! Thanks alot! Additionally, while not loud this fan is in no way "whisper quiet" as advertised. Finally it is made of flimsy plastic. I have a background in electronics manufacturing and I can tell you that this item costs about 5 dollars to make. It is a shame they are passing this on at $50. Save yourself some time and buy something else.
