Should have added this years agoWorks like a dream, very powerful yet can also go to pretty low speeds with the controller. Without output ducting attached, the fan is quite loud (as expected), but with the ducting it's actually surprisingly quiet.The cable length on the controller is surprisingly long, there's more than enough slack in there to put it on the ceiling if needed. The power cable on the other hand is quite short, it's only about 2 feet which makes using an extension cord necessary, but I think that's actually not a bad thing.Es un buen producto, una vez que se logra una instalación correcta tiene un buen funcionamiento a largo plazo y no necesita mantención muy periódica. Sería un producto mucho más completo si tuviera una pantalla led para verificar la temperatura en donde está. My only problem was a states it's quite but it was a bit to noisy for meIt started out very quiet at low speeds but than only after a few days and maybe 10 hrs total run time it started to develop a small vibration and low level whine regardless of speed. Im using in my house to move warm air from one area of my home to another so this whine is extremely annoying. I’m going to try an contact the company but will probably try another brand.received in good condition. works excellent after several months. will consider buy another one.it moves a lot of air but the only thing is is that at slower speeds it has a little ticking noise .I really like that this fan is "plug and play". The 110v side has a plug already installed. And the variable speed controller box is fully installed with a very long cable. The entire unit is made of good quality plastic and is of decent weight. Installing it into duct work seems relatively easy. Airflow direction is clearly marked. Running the unit at low to medium speeds moves a decent amount of air and yields an acceptable level of fan noise. However at medium-high to high speeds, the fan is very noisy. The noise tends to be loud and of a higher pitch which makes it extra annoying. So be aware of the noise issue otherwise this is a very good fan which moves a decent volume of air.I’m using this in a very long vent run, and its made a huge difference! Before installing this, the old fan was not able to adequately vent the room it was in, but now with this duct fan installed, air movement is incredible! I can hear this fan running, but its not overly loud. It seems to be well built and I’m quite happy with it!
