I searched far and wide for ceiling fans that I could use in my covered patio. I loved the simplicity of this fan and that it did not have a light. The description stated that these fans come with handheld wireless remotes. I even contacted the customer support to verify and was told that they indeed where handheld remotes, not dials or buttons that are mounted to the wall. Well---that is incorrect. I ordered 2 fans, neither came with a remote. When I contacted Core Centric they said I could just return them....Even the boxes said there was a remote included. I get it--they are "renewed". They come in a Hunter Box, but were missing a key component that I wanted. Not cool.
